The second round of the SUNRISE project’s Critical Infrastructure (CI) Workshops will take place across Slovenia, Spain and Italy on the 9th and 18th of May. These workshops build on the initial round which was held with the project’s clusters of CI operators from the three participating countries and sought to gather their experiences of dealing with major crises such as the recent Covid-19 pandemic.
During this second round, attendance will remain at a regional and national level but open to a wider spectrum of attendees bringing CI operators from Slovenia, Spain and Italy (some who are partners of the SUNRISE project and some who are external) together to deep dive even further on the topic of CI resilience and discuss potential solutions for improved support methods amongst CI operators and how we can better collaborate in response to major threats including:
- Epidemiological scenarios
- Climate change scenarios
- Other major threatening scenarios
The information, experience and good practices gathered will support the continuation of discussions, analysis, and further in the SUNRISE project as well as the creation of the SUNRISE Strategy for Awareness and Resilience of CIs.
Collaboration is a key pillar of the SUNRISE project and it will aim to create unity amongst public and private CI operators and authorities from various critical sectors all over Europe.
Further details of each workshop can be found below, stay tuned via our website and social media for details on our upcoming EU-level workshop.
